Well the Church unveiled their plans for downtown SLC today, and in my opinion it looks really sweet. Check it out at www.downtownrising.com or the coverage in the Tribune (http://www.sltrib.com/news/ci_4438913) and Desnews (http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/1,4567,650196045,00.html). The major drawback I see will be the 5 years of messy construction, ugh. But the end result will be a very very welcome change, decreasing those gargantuan blocks and getting rid of the Kremlin-inspired Mall architecture.
